Unique Security Blankets for Babies
Babies and young children yearn for security in one way or another. It can starts as early as the day they are born with some babies taking strongly to the pacifier as a means of comfort and security. There is absolutely nothing wrong with having an object contribute to the comfort and security level of a child. Some children have a favorite teddy bear or doll whereas with others a specific blanket does the trick.
My two year old grand daugther has always had her "blankies" that she carries around for security. These blankets put her at ease whenever she's upset and they relax and comfort her whenever she's tired. We soon began to notice that it wasn't JUST the blanket that she had this ever so close bond with...it was also the TAGS!
Children often enjoy the feeling of material against their little faces. Infact, my youngest daughter used to carry around a floral print yellow pillow case with her and she would gather the material and run it against her lips. The concept of children liking the way a particular fabric feels was not new to me. What was new to me was how my two year old grand daugther used that tag as a sense of comfort. She would suck on the tags in the same way as a baby would suck on a pacifier or a child on their thumb.
I came across a site that specializes in products for children such as my grand daugther. Taggies offers blankets trimmed in tags! Each tag is of a different color and texture. Not only do these authentic Taggies blankets serve as unique security blankets, they also allow the child to interract with the various color patterns and textures which is quite stimulating. It doesn't end there though...Taggies also offer toys that are composed the same way. Of course I purchased one of these innovative blankets for my grand daughter!!

Taggies now even offers a Natural Collection. This is perfect for the environmentally-conscious moms who are raising their children to love our planet.
