You're pregnant! Congratultions!! Although the entire process of pregnancy is exciting, there are a few moments that stand out in your memory long after the baby is born. Those moments include:

• The moment you found out you were pregnant and sharing the news with your loved ones
• The first time you heard the heartbeat of the growing baby inside
• The first time you felt a little kick or nudge
• The first time SOMEONE else felt a little kick or nudge while touching your belly (because we all know that the baby never seems to kick on cue)

Decorating your nursery is probably one of the most exciting times because you are creating a room specifically for your baby...a brand new addition to your home! You are giving your baby their first bit of personality. The height adjustable canopy shades the interior to keep out harsh light while baby is peacefully snoozing. The White waffle bedding set with just a hint of pink trim includes a lovely skirt, soft bumper and fitted sheet and this bassinet includes a custom fitted, vinyl covered foam mattress pad (in order to comply with current safety standards, the mattress is approximately 1" thick) Let's not forget to include the fact that there is a storage shelf beneath the bassinet for convenient storage of diapers and blankets and the caster wheels allow you to move the baby without waking. This bassinet is for use up to 20 lbs. (9.09 kg), 3-4 months, or until baby can push up, roll over, or sit unassisted (whichever age, weight, or activity limit comes first). 

Of course, this is just my favorite. With amost 20 bassinets to choose from and new  products to continously being added to the collections, I'm confident that you will find one to to your liking. 

In addition to the bassinet, a changing table is must-have for new parents. Choose from black, white, natural or cherry with Kids Decor Inc. I'm definitely a fan of the traditional sleigh style changing tables but what impressed me the most was the corner changing tables. If saving room is essential to you, you'll fall head over heels for one of the corner tables such as the White Diaper Corner Changing Table.

I caught up with Michelle to ask her what inspired her to start her business, to which she replied:
"I started the business in May 2009.  I had been a SAHM for 7 years and our youngest  child was getting ready to go to Kindergarten.  I was at a point where I needed to decide if I wanted to go back to work part-time in my previous career as an Audiologist or if I wanted to go in a different  direction. After doing some research, I realized that running my own online business would be the best fit for my family.  I love the flexibility that it provides to work from home and still be involved in my children's activities both during school and after school.  I also enjoy the challenges that each day brings while learning how to run my own business.  I was specifically drawn to a business in children's room decor because I have truly enjoyed watching my own children develop their individual personalities.  Owning this boutique is very rewarding because it  allows me to to offer my customers unique products that fit the personality and style of the special children in their lives."
